There is opposition in all things

There are many things in life that bring much joy. The blessings of a good back, having a dollar to spend for some food, having a job in these troubling times, having and feeling the support of a super family, good kids, a good wife or husband, a testimony of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, an opportunity to serve others, etc. Losing one of those helps one to appreciate the many good things that you have. You really find out how much you use and depend on your back when you are in pain everytime you move. It is a struggle when you have to ask someone to lift everything that your are used to doing. In fact it is very humbling. Then when both you and your companion have the same thing happen it really hits you as you try and decide which of you is going to move the groceries or vacuum the floors or pick up that box or even that letter that has fallen on the floor. How do you get the laundary to the washing machine or the groceries from the car to the apartment. You find yourself very thankful for ice packs, Advil, a new bed that does not sag in the center, or a Chiropractor who does not crack your bones. You are most greatful for strong and willing missionaries who can lift and move furniture when apartments have to be closed. We are greatful for willing missionaries who put bikes together and move boxes to storage. As we look at the work we are doing we have a greater appreciation for the blessing of good health.

Be Thou Humble...always an "ouch" situation.

Sorry about your backs...wish we could be there to help you out.

Good things always come after the storm...
