We were supposed to get a big storm with freezing rain but it went north of us. We did get a snow flury this morning and we had to drive to New Bloomfield but the roads had been sanded and it was only wet. When we were coming home all of the trees had a layer of ice on them and it looked really cool. The sun was shining and the ice on the trees reflected the sun light and all of the trees looked like they had been flocked. We are sure glad that it didn't rain when we were on the road. Tonight is the departing missionaries fireside and tomorrow is transfers. Yesterday Sister Smith and I spent the day in the office (on our P day) sorting the mail and getting all of the Christmas Packages ready and organized to take to the transfer meeting tomorrow so that the packages can get out to all of our Missionaries. In the morning Elder Smith is going to drive to take the departing missionaries to the airport. We will start at 4 am to get them to the airport before their departure at 6 am. Then back to the office to load up all of the packages and take them to the transfer meeting at 11 am. Then we will be off to the airport again in the evening to pickup the arriving missionaries. Usually we are not involved in the pickup and transport to the airport but President want Elder Smith instead of the Assistant to drive with this bad weather.
