April 20, 2008 PA Harrisburg Mission

I traveled to Sunbury PA on Saturday to take a set of keys to the Elders in Sunbury who are moviing to Selinsgrove which is across the Susquehanna River. I took some pictures of a couple of churches in Sunbury that are just a block away from each other and of their main street. I also took some pictures of the Susquehanna River looking up stream and down stream. The river is not very deep but is a mile wide at this location and is also a mile wide as it goes through Harrisburg. The Susquehanna river runs from the northern boarder to the southern boarder of PA. We are hoping that we will soon be able to see where the Priesthood was restored. President Pugh is talking of taking all of the Missionaries on a trip this fall to the site of the Prieshtood restoration.

Something to think about

People who make a Difference

Take this Quiz:

1. Name the five wealthiest people in the world.

2. Name the last five Heisman trophy winners.

3. Name the last five winners of the Miss America contest.

4. Name ten people who have won the Nobel or Pulitzer prize

5. Name the last half dozen academy Award winners for the best actor and actress.

6. Name the last decade's worth of World Series winners.

How did you do?

1. List a few teachers who aided your journey through school.

2. Name three friends who have helped you through a difficult time.

3. Name five people who have taught you something worthwhile.

4 Think of a few people who hae make you feel appreciated and special.

5. Think of five people you enjoy spending time with.

6. Name half a dozen heroes whose stories have inspired you.

The lesson? The people who make a difference in your life are not the ones with the most credentials, the most money, or the most awards. They ar the ones that care!

They are you!!!!!!!
