MTC

We are still at the MTC. It is Wednesday February 20, 2008. We have been here for 9 days and will finish up our training tomorrow at around 4:30 PM. We have been in training for 8 hours a day Monday throught Friday. Saturday is preparation day and we attended the Temple last Saturday. Sunday is full of meetings from 8:00 AM Sacrement Meeting to a 7:00 PM Fireside. The first week was learning Preach My Gospel and teaching the first 3 lessons to pretend investigatiors as well as learning how to work with Wards and Branches and inactives. The Second week has been learning the computer programs used in the Mission Offices. We have learned the MOS (Mission Office System) which includes finances, transfers, housing, vehicles, merge, corrispondence, etc. We are so full of training that we are not sure if we can find it all when we get to Pennsylvania. We have met some wonderful peolpe while here. Some have become very good friends. It has also been interesting how many know people that we know. One family lived in Billings and knew Thurman and LaDawn. Another lived in the same Ward and Charles and Trudy Whittaker. We also run into a couple of Elders who lived in our Ward in Layton before we moved.
