Farewell

Jan 20, 2008 Had our missionary farewell today in the Sand Springs Ward. We spoke at 9:00 AM and Judy and I were the only speakers. Judy spoke for 15 minutes and I spoke for 20 minutes on the Subject of Christ Like Love and Service. Brother Gary Romer provided a beautiful musical number where he played the piano and sang the song.

Judy began her talk telling of her trying to bribe someone to give her talk. She held up $100 and and told the congregation that no one would take her on that offer so she held up $200 and said there was still no takers. Then Tom stood up beside her and said that she had not made the offer to him and took the $200 from her. Then Judy said, "Good then that means that Tom would get to do all of the talking". Even with the money taken and the bribe accepted by Tom, Judy still gave a wonderful inspiring talk.
